Skultuna Karui Tray
Description
Deliberately named Karui, from Japanese meaning soft and light, to refer to the leather lining and simple aesthetic. This Skultuna tray is made using a metal spinning technique, with leather added to line its base. It's a simple but stylish piece for serving drinks and nibbles. Founded in 1607 by King Karl IX of Sweden, the Skultuna brass foundry is still a curator for the Royal Court of Sweden. Using fine metal to create objects for both everyday and special use, the values of quality and design are as present today as they were over 400 years ago.
