The Siemens EH601FE17E Induction Hob offers a safe and efficient way of cooking. Designed for greater flexibility when cooking, the touch control hob is a flushline fit to ensure the cooktop lays flat on your kitchen worksurface. Better still, it features four quick-lite cooking zones which automatically adjust to the size of pan you are using to ensure a rapid response. The induction hob works by creating a magnetic field between the hob and steel or iron pan. The heat is instant and thanks to the power boost function, can shorten heating times with up to 50% more power. The touchSlider boasts 17 power levels which allows the hob temperature to be controlled by either entering it directly, or by moving the slider with a single finger. And for peace of mind, the EH601FE17E features an automatic safety switch off and a control panel lock which will prevent you and your family from burning your hands when the hob is not in use. Note: Only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include: enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base.
