With its stainless steel edge, the Samsung C61R1AAMST ceramic hob is a stylish and efficient tool to cook with. It includes touch control for convenience and residual heat indicators for safety. An afterheat indicator lets you know when the surface is hot when the letter “H” appears. When it disappears, the surface is cool to the touch. The smooth, ergonomic design means cleaning up spills and grease splatters is easy, requiring only a quick wipe with a soft cloth. And because the ceramic surface doesn't get as hot as other electric cooktops, spills won't bake on. It also features a safety shut-off to ensure appliances turn off when you want them to. Also offered is a child-safety lock to make sure little hands don't get themselves into trouble. Worth knowing: There should be a minimum height clearance of 65cm between an electric hob and the cooker hood above it.
