Description
The Smart Grill Pro from Sage features five meat settings that can be programmed from rare to well-done. An integrated probe will monitor the exact temperature of your meat and will highlight when it's time to take off the grill and rest. When meat is rested for 3 to 5 minutes, it enables the muscle fibres to relax and lets the juices and flavour to spread evenly through the meat. Throughout this rest phase, residual heat will continue to cook the meat so the Smart Grill Pro alerts you when the meat needs to be taken off before reaching the ideal level whether you enjoy your steak rare, medium, well done and everything in between. Embedded heating elements in the plates and an electronic thermostat will sense small fluctuations in temperature to perfectly cook and sear twice as fast as a BBQ. The Smart Grill Pro can fold flat to an open BBQ while the non-stick surface and the adjustable temperature/height control enables you to cook other food like pancakes or toasted sandwiches. - A.D.
