A 1/18 scale replica of Luke Skywalker's X-34 Landspeeder. The attention to detail on this Royal Selangor ornament transports you to the scene; Luke heads for the Jundland Wastes in search of R2, with C-3P0 working the thrust turbines. Made in their signature polished pewter with a satin finish, by plugging into mains power supply the Landspeeder will actually hover above its sleek display stand. The mirrored surface of the stand accentuates the hover feature whilst also suggesting the mirage effect of desert conditions. Pewter is almost maintenance-free as it does not react with the air to oxidise or tarnish. It can attract dust and dirt, but all that's required is an occasional wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Over time and with use, pewter develops a pleasing and subdued patina unique to the metal which is part of the beauty of investing in this material.
