The cover sits flat on the bed, inside of the springs, keeping leaves and birds mess off the bed, but letting the rain pass through eyelets.The standard tie down kit consists of 4 metal coils, which screw into the soil, attached to this are 4 straps, which go over the curved top rail and under the W leg and the standard ladder has 2 runs making it easy for the little ones.
