Layered colours are handpainted onto this Poole Pottery vase to create a pattern that looks like a view out to the horizon at sunset. The blue tones at the bottom contrast with the oranges, making it an eye-catching piece, perfect for displaying single stems. Each item from Poole Pottery is crafted using traditional techniques. The coloured base glaze is first sprayed on by hand and left to dry. A pattern may then be drawn on as a guide if needed before it's handpainted by layering one colour onto another.
