Description
Fixies™ are a flexible tie wrap made from Hook-Loop dual, a new type of hook and loop tape where the hooks are mixed in with the loops so that it fastens to itself. This makes the tie wrap infinitely variable in length, “one size fit all”. To fasten, simply pass the Fixie™ around the items your want to fasten together, pass the end through the plastic slider, pull tight and fasten the Hook-loop dual back on its self. The plastic slider acts as a small pulley giving you a 2:1 mechanical advantage and therefore getting it as tight as you need.If you need the fastener to be really short, like fastening on a frame bag, attach the Fixie™ and get it tight and then cut off the excess. TIP: where possible have as much Hook-Loop-dual touching to give the maximum grip.For longer straps; Fasten 2 or more together by passing the end of Fixie™ 1 through the slider of Fixie™ 2 and then fasten the end back on it’s self, 50mm is the ideal amount to fold back but you may need more for heavy loads. By adding straps together you can make them as long as you need.
