Pair of fine china mugs decorated with William Morris’s (1834 1896) ‘Pimpernel’, a wallpaper from 1876. Morris was a founding figure of the Arts & Crafts Movement and developed its three guiding principles: honest and functional design, the use of natural forms in pattern, and the importance of creative, manual work.
