Tint your room to suit your mood with Hue LivingColors Bloom, from Philips. Designed to work with Philips Hue systems, this wireless-enabled lamp connects to your Wi-Fi to allow you you to control the atmosphere in your room through the Philips Hue app for iOS and Android. Hue lamps and light bulbs can be grouped together so you can set the mood in a room in one go, with up to 50 lights on one network. Colour your life With 16 million colour variations to choose from, you can set Hue Bloom to the mood that suits you, so you can wash your walls with a blue ocean glow or illuminate a favourite feature. Colours can be saved as 'Scenes', so you can revisit your favourites, or you can choose from the available presets. These 'light recipes' have been proven to create the perfect atmosphere for your needs. The 'Reading' recipe is ideal for curling up with a book, while 'Relax' provides a soothing glow. 'Concentrate' will help you stay alert when working, while 'Energise' bathes you in vibrant lights to revitalise you. Programmable Hue Bloom works as more than just a colourful lamp. It can be tailored to your life, with alarms, timers and alerts, so you can set Hue to wake you up with a soft sunrise glow, or to turn all of your Hue lights off at bedtime. Hue lights can flash at you to let you know when your food is ready to come out of the oven, or to let you know when your favourite TV show is starting. You can set your lights to come on when you're away, to deter thieves, or control them remotely via the portal, from anywhere in the world. Geofencing technology can be used to turn your Hue lights on as you enter the door. Hue can even be linked to data feeds via the IFTTT (If This Then That) service, to give you a visual alert when you get an important email or when the weather changes. Apps to help you unlock more With additional iOS and Android apps, you can get even more out of your Hue. Ambilight+hue for both iOS and Android works with Philips Ambilight TVs (2011 model or newer, type number 6 or higher in xxPFLxxx6) to match the mood in your living room to the scenes on TV, creating a more immersive experience. Ambify for iOS and hue Disco for Android make Hue react to music, providing you with an instant dance floor. Works with Nest Philips Hue and Nest have teamed up to help you get the most out of your lighting and your Nest products. When your Nest Learning Thermostat knows you're away, your hue lights will automatically switch off gently. While you're gone, Hue will make it seem like you are home by switching your hue lights on and off to mimic your presence. If Nest Protect finds a possible hazard it will give you a heads up by flashing the hue lights yellow alongside the audible warning. In case of an alarm, the lights will flash red before going to a dimmed red state which is best to help you navigate in smoky environments.
