Philip Kingsley is delighted to introduce Daily Damage Defence Extreme, which has been developed with the specific needs of African-Caribbean hair in mind.African Caribbean hair is flat with a twisted structure and a thin diameter. Where these 'twists' occur, there is a change in the width of the hair, making the hair weak and very vulnerable to breakage at these points. The curly nature of African Carribbean hair also makes it more porous and prone to moisture evaporation.Overly processed hair is similarly porous, prone to breakage and lacking elasticity. For this reason, Daily Damage Defence Extreme's specialised, reparative formula is also ideal for hair that has been damaged from extreme heat styling or excessive colouring, in particular bleaching.
