Description
Dakota Fields This 95cm x 180cm privacy fence also serves as a windbreak. However, it is recommended that you use it in wind protected areas close to the house, (e.g. on a terrace). The large surface of a windbreak prevents it from being suitable as garden fence and it should not stand outdoors completely unprotected. The wind can develop very high forces - particularly when it comes in gusts. If you do decide to install your screen out in the open, you can secure it with a storm anchor. The storm anchor is driven below the earth's surface into the ground and aligned. Due to the construction, a stable triangle is created, which secures the screen fence well in strong winds. Note: It will not help in gale force winds. This WPC privacy panel is a modern alternative to the standard wooden privacy fence. Its composition of wood and plastic makes the WPC material not only weather-resistant but also dimensionally stable and colour-fast. Thanks to the simple plug-in system, it is quick and easy to construct. The base element contains everything that is needed for assembling the product. The posts and WPC panels can be shortened by means of a saw if necessary. This allows you to vary the height of the screen by omitting one or more WPC panels. To change the length of the fence, you can cut the WPC panels using a saw. WPC products consist of approx. 60% wood, 30% HDPF (high-density polyethylene) and approx. 10% additives. The colour pigments contained in the materials will most likely affect the colour of the privacy panel. These positive properties result in an exceptional material. In addition, the plastic portion makes the panel more resistant to weathering, pest infestation and fading.
