The Opticron SR.GA 8.5x50 ZWCF.GA are an uprated version of the original Opticron HR, the SR.GA offers excellent standards of optical performance and manufacturing quality in a traditional porro prism format. The simplicity of design coupled with the highest available grade of glass components mean that these binoculars deliver stunning resolution, matching any roof prism binocular costing twice the price. In addition each model benefits from a 'combination' multi-coating meaning different 'coating types' are applied individually to different components within the optical system. More costly than a universally applied single multi-coating, the process has an appreciable effect, improving colour contrast in bright sunlight at midday or low light at dawn and dusk.
