With an Internal Focus (IF) system, you'll experience a fast yet quiet AF which will produce superb images at all apertures. And it's this quick response which makes the lens ideal for taking stills and HD videos. Together with a Silent-Wave Motor and fast f/1.8 aperture, you'll be able to capture images quickly, and quietly, even it low light conditions. Alternatively, if you prefer to capture stills and frames manually, you can switch to an exclusive M/A mode with virtually no time lag. Quality is second-to-none too.
