Modern Rarity Eudon Choi Frill Hem Coat

Crafted in collaboration with Eudon Choi, this Modern Rarity coat is cut from a luxurious Italian material containing virgin wool and mohair. With a tactile finish, the fabric has a wavy hair pattern running throughout, created by a special water process. Feminine in silhouette, this coat has a subtle swing shape and Eudon's signature ruffle detail at the hem. Exquisite tailoring, cut, form and detail are the signature of Eudon Choi's aesthetic. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Korean-born Choi finds inspiration from a love of photography, art and architecture. For this collection I looked back over my 7-year archive and selected my 10 favourite coats, which I then re-worked with the John Lewis team to create something new. I have a background in menswear design so I always focus on using sartorial techniques and masculine cuts to shape the female form. We sourced all new fabrics to update the archive pieces and keep them feeling fresh - Eudon Choi
