This makes it easier for making out small details such as car number plates that would otherwise be more difficult to make out in low quality footage. The camera records in Extreme HD. The device uses the latest H.264 file storage technology for storing high quality videos at a smaller file size; the benefit is you'll be able to store more of your footage at the best possible quality so you spend less time deleting files to make space on your memory card. The mount is easily rotated to any angle for better video evidence collection. G-Sensor technology With the MiVue 618 you'll always have peace of mind when driving thanks to the G-Sensor. When the sensor detects sudden motion, the MiVue will save and lock the footage at the time of event to prevent it from being accidentally deleted or overwritten. A three-axis sensor records the G-forces, showing the direction and force of impact to help aid your case in any possible insurance claims. Photo mode The MiVue 618 also takes still photos. Lane Departure and Speed Warnings Your MiVue 618 features free safety camera data, with monthly updates available for the lifetime of your device. Auto power on Once set up, your MiVue 618 starts recording when you turn the key to start your car. And if your vehicle has a constant power supply you can choose to have the device always on recording. Memory card compatibility Should you wish to save your footage the Mio MiVue 618 Dash Cam is memory card compatible with Micro SDXC cards of up to 128 GB.
