A truly irresistible character, Chester bear is hand-made from beautiful grey mohair, with contrasting stone coloured pure wool felt paw pads. Small, tufty ears and a trimmed muzzle accentuate Chester's long smiley face, whilst a bean-filled tummy makes him especially tactile and cuddly. A satin bow is tied neatly around his neck. Merrythought is renowned for making some of the world's finest teddy bears. Handcrafted at the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, in Shropshire, this fourth generation family run business is now Britain's only surviving teddy bear manufacturer. Since 1930, Merrythought has been delighting both adults and children with their wonderfully witty and quintessentially English designs.
