LED pendant luminaire TR Bulb DTW with special light source The combination of brushed brass and opal glass is presented by the single-flame pendant luminaire TR Bulb DTW, which is particularly refined. In this pendant luminaire, the hand-blown opal glass globe is both the illuminant and shade. The traditional design makes it a light source that can be integrated into almost any interior design style, whether in private homes or in hotels and restaurants. The light source, the TR Bulb, which also gave the pendant lamp its name, consists of warm white LEDs with dim to warm function and a mouth-blown sphere of opal glass, which not only serves as a shade but also as a diffuser for an even and glare-free light emission. The brightness can also be dimmed via an external dimmer, whereby the dim to warm function changes the colour of the light as the light dims. At full brightness, warm white light is emitted at 2,700 K, while during the dimming process the light colour becomes warmer and warmer up to 1,800 K. The design of the TR Bulb luminaire series was created by industrial designer Tim Rundle. His design studio of the same name in London specialises in furniture and lighting design as well as installations and strategic consulting.
