The movement is tough solar, with backlight, chronograph, and alarm. The movement also features a power saving mode that shuts down the display when it is stored without light for long periods of time to extend battery life. The case is a combination of stainless steel and resin parts, for lightness, and sits on a black rubber strap for comfort.
