All of Maze Rattan's furniture can be left outside all year round. However it is recommended to purchase a winter protective cover for the furniture. The covers provide superior protection from the elements. It is also strongly advised that all cushions should not be stored underneath your protective cover, otherwise the cushions can become water stained. In addition, all cushions should be stored in a dry location when not in use. Are the cushions machine washable? Yes, all of the cushions can be machine washed, it is recommended that you wash your covers at a low temperature, around 30°c. In addition, Maze Rattan strongly recommend not dry your cushions on a radiator or tumble dryer as this will cause the cushion cases to shrink. Does this furniture fade in sunlight? All of Maze Rattan's products provide UV protection to ensure they do not fade in sunlight, resulting in years of enjoyment. How do I care for my furniture? Maze Rattan recommend cleaning your furniture without the cushions at least once a year. Firstly, brush the furniture down to remove leaves and debris. Then, use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wipe dirt away. After the dirt has been removed, rinse your furniture to a clean finish. Is our furniture fully assembled? All of Maze Rattan's furniture is fully aluminium welded, the only components which will require assembly are the tables, parasol and storage boxes. Is the glass tempered? Yes, we can confirm all of the glass used has been tempered for your safety. Does the rattan contract and expand? Yes, all of the rattan weave will contract and expand based on weather conditions. In warm weather it will expand and then contract back to its original state once temperatures become cooler. This is a completely normal trait for rattan garden furniture and in result will stop the weave from snapping and becoming brittle in the winter months.
