With 3M™ Thinsulate™ Featherless Insulation, the Avant Featherless Hoody adds warmth without weight, and this synthetic insulation has been found to perform as highly as a traditional 700 fill power goose or duck down. For an added bonus, Marmot have created this Thinsulate™ Insulation with 75% recycled fibres that perform in damp conditions. For complete protection against the harsh outdoor environment, a 20 denier woven baffle fabric construction weaves each layer together, ensuring the insulation stays exactly where it needs to be and eliminates any cold spots. Elastic bound cuffs and a drawcord hem keep any unwanted draughts away and a the hood can be thrown up for complete cold weather coverage. When the adventure finally comes to the end, Marmot have included a handy stuff sack, saving on space and protecting the Hoody, ready for next weekend.
