Humidistat and Timer Operated These extractor fans are certainly the cleverest with the ability to operate using a timer or based on the humidity levels in the room. It is operated when humidity levels within the room get too high or when the light switch is used, with a timer continuing to run the extractor fan for a predetermined amount of time.
