Description
The Leifheit Air Active Ironing Board is specifically for use with steam iron generators. It's designed to maximise the benefits of steam to make ironing faster, easier and provide the ability to iron multiple layers of material, such as folded sheets, at the same time. It features an integrated active board with 3 Air-type functions - air suction gently secures the laundry to the board while air extraction draws away excess steam through the material, so the fibres open up and the steam is extracted downwards, leaving the clothes ‘wardrobe dry'. Air inflate protects delicates and prints, working like an air cushion when ironing delicate clothing. A fan blows air up through the table and lightweight fabrics balloon whilst being steamed from a distance. The steam softens the creases, the ballooning stretches the fabric and the creases disappear - all the while with no contact with the sole of the iron. Ideal for items with appliqué, darts in a blouse or non-iron designs.
