Caché hanging light: metal lampshade plus a pleated lampshade At first glance, the Caché hanging light may look like a very ordinary light source. However, if you look closer, you can see the extraordinary feature of this light: the second, pleated lampshade hidden under the arched metal lampshade. You will notice what’s so special about it straight away, namely the delicate pleating technique. The Danish lighting designer Le Klint has gained a name for itself over decades with these special pleated lampshades. The first lights were produced around 100 years ago and the first store opened in Copenhagen in 1943. It is still at the same address today. Caché – or "hidden" in English – is one of many lighting products from the company Le Klint. It didn’t get this name by chance as the characteristic pleated lampshade only becomes visible at second glance. It is easy to imagine that Caché also has a very special lighting effect as the light escapes softly through the transparent plastic. The hanging light is a wonderful light source for kitchen and dining tables and fills its surroundings with style.
