The lampshades are hand-pleated in Denmark, specifically in Odense on the island of Funen, since there is not yet any machine that is capable of handling this complicated pleating technique. In addition to its beautiful appearance, the pleated lampshade also has one other advantage. The white plastic is perfect for an optimal, i.e. soft and glare-free, light distribution. Traditional craftsmanship and timeless design are the Copenhagen-based manufacturer’s forte.
