Hanging the Hammock Swing Chair The hanging hammock chair has a strong braided cotton loop attached to the spreader bar. If you’re unable to thread it over a tree branch, you can hang it from the branch using a metal S-hook (not included). You can also hang the chair from a C-frame (not included). C-frames are hardwearing metal frames that are specially designed for hanging chairs, including hammocks.
