Janine Burrows is a young at heart, diverse designer, painter and illustrator with over 20 years of experience in various design roles and a penchant for living by the sea. Originally from a surface pattern and printed textiles background, Janine combines all of her experiences into freelance work at Jam & Ginger Design Studio designing greeting cards, stationery, wallpaper and childrenswear. Painting is where Janine's heart is though, and she is constantly influenced by the countryside and coast in Britain. Based in Yorkshire, where hilly landscape and stormy skies are never far away, Janine's signature style makes use of bold colour and expressive mark-making along with texture and delicate details.
