Description

The HP Pavilion desktop PC has been created with a 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, and a 2TB hard disk drive + 256GB solid state drive. You’ll be able to complete work assignments, send emails, stream shows and store large amounts of data, whilst the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 graphics card provides casual gaming options too.

Intel Core i5
With a Intel Core i5 processor, you'll easily handle day-to-day tasks like word processing, image editing, web browsing and casual gaming.

The i5-10400F processor in this model features 12MB of cache and 6 cores that can adjust their speed depending on the complexity of the task they are working on, from 2.90GHz to 4.30GHz.

What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.

A solid performer
Featuring 8GB of RAM, this computer has enough power for casual tasks like web browsing and word processing as well as more demanding jobs like complex spread sheets and image manipulation. You'll be able to run a healthy number of windows at once without any obvious lag or slowdown.

Super space

This device features a huge 2TB HDD for storage of media and programmes and a 256GB SSD for your everyday programmes, files and media. SSDs are far faster than regular hard drives. Ingeniously, SSDs don't use moving parts to work, which makes them far more dependable and also quieter.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 graphics

NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 1030 graphics processing unit (GPU) will enable you to enjoy a number of classic older games, along with some casual (web-based) gaming. You may be able to run more modern titles with reduced effects and frame rates. Featuring a range of technologies, the GeForce GT 1030 is DirectX 12 compatible.

DirectX 12
DirectX 12 provides great performance by simultaneously utilizing all the cores of your multicore CPU. It also raises the amount of processes that can be sent to your graphics card, so computations are completed quicker – meaning your games play better.

Connecting your other devices
USB and Ethernet ports allow for fast data transfer, whilst the DVI and HDMI ports enables the option for duel screen presentations (monitor(s) sold separately). Additionally, Bluetooth can help to send data wirelessly between devices.
