Inspired by this dynamic raw material, numerous perfumers have succeeding in unveiling its earthy characteristics, but none have truly explored its veritable flower scent. Iris des Champs takes a completely different approach by creating an olfactory interpretation of the flower in a philosophy inspired by in-house French perfumer, Paul Parquet, creator of the nineteenth-century, genre-defining Fougère Royale.Its aroma's extraordinarily present and volatile, bordering on invasive. Powdered facets deploy wooded, green accents, evocative of the comforting scent of warm bread. The scent is transportative, redolent of blossoming iris fields belting the Tuscan countryside, flooded in spring sunshine, underpinned by voluptuous woods and musk.
