Description
The unmistakeable skyscrapers of New York's Midtown Manhattan dominate this abstract work by artist Gregory Lang, printed on canvas and float mounted in a frame. Gregory Lang is an American painter, best known for his urban landscape paintings. A New England native, Gregory was influenced by the region's industrial surroundings before, at age 19, he moved to Berlin to study architecture - arriving only fourteen months after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Whilst in Berlin, Lang was exposed to a great deal of the underground outsider art emerging from the East and this had a big influence on his work. Today, editions of his urban landscape paintings are printed and distributed to over 70 countries worldwide. Lang's abstract paintings create a statement on a wall.
