Reinterpreting rococo patterns, these pretty floral pyjamas are evocative of a design by William Kilburn (17451818), illustrator for William Curtis"s "Flora Londinensis" and a prolific manufacturer of calico during the period. A leading designer and printer of fashionable fabrics during the 18th century, originals of his watercolour designs make up the "Kilburn Album", housed at the Victoria & Albert Museum. These printed cotton pyjamas feature delicate tones of purple and soft blue on a lilac background. Made exclusively for Museum Selection.
