Our Kitchen Bench with Black Hairpin Legs is part of our 356 North furniture collection. It offers sustainable, stylish, Scandi inspired plywood furniture with a pared back minimalist vibe. The design of these pieces is inspired by iconic mid century plywood & hairpin leg furniture. The 356 North range is handmade in the North West of the UK using sturdy, high grade FSC certified Swedish plywood. Ply is often more durable & less likely to warp than solid wood as well as being much more affordable. The wood has been finished with two layers of wax which is sealed after the final coat & buffed to give a mid shine. The wax creates a layer to help water run off it & most things will not be able to stain it due to the protective layer. The bench will fit comfortably under our matching 4 seater dining table when not in use to free up floor space. As well as being sustainable, durable & affordable plywood furniture is also quickly becoming the first choice to complement contemporary interiors due to its natural pale light reflecting grained finish. Made up of numerous bonded strips of wood the edges of 356 North have been left exposed to make an attractive feature of the ply layers. The sleek, strong metal powder coated rust resistant hairpin legs, in matte black or white, are the ideal choice in adding to the simple clean lines of this collection. The legs come with matching colour clip on rubber floor protector feet. The easy to screw in legs will arrive separately with screws. All that is needed is a standard size cross head screwdriver to screw the legs into holes which are pre drilled.
