A well presented antique Edwardian mahogany ladies writing desk or bureau with cylinder top, having a fitted interior with an arrangement of various pigeon hole compartments, & small drawers, the tooled leather writing surface extends out above two frieze fitted drawers, raised on tapering square legs with castors. Decorative inlay & crossbanding detail throughout. A very attractive piece of Edwardian furniture. Item Ref; M-1192 . DIMENSIONS: Height – 104cm / Width – 76cm / Depth – 48cm / Surface Height - 73cm . CONDITION REPORT: in good antique condition throughout with some signs of age & wear. Some minor surface wear in places including a small surface scratch to the top. The cylinder top rolls well. The lock has been removed at some point & has been filled. Structurally solid & sound. Our carpenter inspects, repairs & restores all our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is home ready!
