Press the run switch while feeding the knife blade into the slot. Start with the wide end of the knife, slowly pull the blade through the sharpening slot several times until you reach the desired sharpness. Repeat this process in the other slot and sharpen both sides alternately. There is a switch inside for left- or right-handed users. This device removes chips in the blade edge of up to 0.05cm deep. The lid collects the ceramic residue. The slot holds the knife firmly. Dust collector fan holds ceramic debris.
