The footrest is adjustable with dangle-free leg support, and the seat padding can be removed as your child grows. For safety, the Quantum 2 includes a padded 5-point harness with washable harness pads.For your comfort, the handle of the Quantum 2 is telescopic to 6 positions, so it's suitable for parents of any height and offers great control for a smooth turning circle. It's covered in a luxurious leatherette fabric, soft to the touch for comfortable pushing. The seat height is generous, lifting your little one even closer to you and saving you from bending down as far when you're interacting with them. The seat unit can be replaced by a Quantum carrycot which is a lovely and soft lie-flat environment for further luxury during those early months (sold separately). Adaptors are included in the box if you want to add an infant carrier to the chassis- the Quantum 2 is compatible with a wide range of popular infant carriers, including Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix, Rock, Pebble, Pebble Plus, Kiddy Evoluna i-Size, Evolution Pro 2, BeSafe iZi Go and the Cybex infant carriers Aton 3S, Aton Q, Aton 4, Aton 5, Cloud Q & Aton Q i-Size.Unlike some pushchairs, the Quantum 2 doesn't just collapse in a heap when you want to fold it- you are in control of this fold and you can do it one handed too, and in one piece or with the seat removed. The two-step fold makes the pushchair superbly compact for storage or transporting and ensures the fabrics stay clean. When folded, the frame auto-locks, can self-stand and the seat and chassis can stay nested together nicely. A shoulder strap comes in handy to lift the pushchair when folded, and a geared power-assist allows you to unfold again easily. The wheels can even be removed for an even more compact fold. Speaking of the wheels, these sold, never flat wheels have suspension to help you take on the city streets- the front wheels can be set to swivel to nip through crowds or locked forward for straight-line travelling. At the rear is a cleverly designed 'one-step' brake, and under the seat is a large shopping basket with a hood to conceal whatever you put inside- you can store a changing bag or whatever else you need to take on your adventures. A leatherette covered bumper bar and a raincover are included, but other accessories are available separately, including a warm footmuff, a snack tray and cup holder which fit neatly in place.Keeping your little one covered is a generous and airy 3 tiered canopy which can fold right down over the seat for privacy and discretion as required. It's called 'paparazzi-proof' for your little starlet, but don't worry- hidden mesh air vents and allow great airflow for comfort and a mesh panel allows you a view of your little one so you can check on them as you travel without disturbing them.
