Women's Desert Boots sand suede embossed - In celebration of the 90th anniversary of Disney's Mickey Mouse our iconic Desert Boot uses a sand suede from British tannery Charles F Stead. With the signature red stitching and embossed detail on the ankle and fob of Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willy these boots pay homage to the beloved cartoon character. Launched in 1950 the Desert Boot was inspired by a rough boot from Cairo's Old Bazaar. An instant hit it became the footwear of choice for off-duty army officers. Often imitated never bettered its simple clean lines are teamed with an unfussy lace fastening and our signature crepe sole.
