Cable knitting dates from the early 19th century when it was first used to knit fisherman"s jumpers. The technique is functional as well as decorative as the weave is more durable and insulating than standard knitted fabric. Cotton acrylic yarn in stonewashed finish which will lighten with wash and wear. Relaxed fit with side split detail.
