Established in 1643 by Claude Trudon, Cire Trudon is the oldest candle maker in the world with a famous wax producing factory in France. It's candles aim to enlighten with a glorious perfumed history. This scent has top notes of spearmint, lemon, blackcurrant bud, apple ginger and cloves; with a middle aroma of jasmine, and base of vanilla for an evocative fragrance of the Mascara coast. Born in 1808 near the town of Mascara in Algeria, Abd El Kader was a politician and military leader, as well as a writer, poet and philosopher who founded the Algerian state. Nicknamed “the friend of the French”, he was said to be enlightened and cultivated. A man who always fought with honour, he was highly respected even by his enemies. Having supplied French royalty, as well as the most glorious cathedrals and churches over France, Cire Trudon has established an unrivalled historical reputation of prestige.
