Cavallo Pastern Wraps Cavallo Pastern Wraps are neoprene wraps designed to be worn with Cavallo Hoof Boots to provide an extra layer of protection to your horse's soft skin when you ride and are especially useful when you are first breaking-in the new hoof boots to help prevent rubbing. They can also used to tighten up the fit of slightly looser boots, or to reduce the gap around the neck of the boot if you have a fine boned horse. Sold in pairs the wraps are simple to use. Remember that there is a break-in period required to soften the leather at the bulbs and around the collar of your horse's new hoof boots. Like your own riding boots, it is recommended that time is taken to gradually break-in the boots.
