The Canon XF205 is a compact, fully-featured professional camcorder aimed at newsgathering, documentary and independent filmmakers. Designed to support the growing and diverse requirements of camera professionals, the Canon XF205 features the very latest in Canon camcorder technology, including a HD CMOS Pro imaging sensor, 26.8mm wide, 20x optical zoom lens with three separate lens rings (focus, zoom and iris) and Wi-Fi connectivity. A range of recording options provide the flexibility to simultaneously record high definition MXF files to CF cards and MP4 files to an SD card, in HD or lower resolutions - ideal for capturing footage intended for both broadcast and web channels. Wide DR Gamma helps to reduce over-exposure, whilst an IR shooting mode means the camera can easily be used at night.
