Cane Creek's Double Barrel is legendary in downhill, freeride and enduro circles, thank to it's sophisticated and highly adjustable twin-tube design that offers breath-taking performance over rough terrain. No matter how long or rough the track is, the DBair CS has you covered. Highly adjustable air spring can be tuned to suit a massive range of riders and riding stylesHigh performance damper with adjustable high/low-speed compression & high/low-speed reboundTwin-tube design maintains performance over long, rough descents, feeling smooth & consistentClimb Switch provides additional platform damping and slows rebound speed to improve traction and efficiency when climbingMounting hardware not included sold separatelyAdjust-ability is the name of the game with the DBair. With adjustable high/low-speed compression as well as high/low-speed rebound, you can dial in the shock exactly how you like, so you can experience the incredible small-bump compliance of a coil shock, teamed with impeccable control when the trail becomes a boulder field or a labyrinth of roots. The shocks air spring makes it incredibly easy to tune for different rider weights and riding styles; all you need is a shock pump and the shock can be tuned to suit a flyweight or heavyweight. The shock's progression can also be tuned thanks to volume spacers, can you can have a more linear feeling if you prefer or you can make the shock ramp up hard if you really wallop the bike through rough terrain or big jumps.Efficiency when the trail points up rather than down is improved by the clever Climb Switch. Whereas most shocks with some kind of lock-out or platform damping simply increase the amount of damping, the Climb Switch also slows down the low-speed rebound, helping keep the back wheel glued to the ground on climbs to provide incredible traction on technical and loose climbs. With Climb Switch, you certainly won't be able to blame the bike if you fail to clear a climb. The twin-tube design is shared with the other Double Barrel shocks and this helps to keep the shock consistent on long, rough descents that would overwhelm a regular shock, so you can be sure that the shock will feel exactly the same at the end of a half-hour long descent as it did at the top. The Cane Creek DBair CS Rear Shock continues to set the benchmark for high-performance rear shocks and will happily grace many enduro, freeride and downhill bikes and bestow incredible control and performance on them.
