The Breitling Top Time Classic Cars watch collection revives the original Top Time reference from 1964 while tributing three classic sports cars from the same era, including the Chevrolet Corvette. Based on the striking Corvette C2 from the mid-1960s, often referred to as the “Sting Ray”, the Breitling Top Time Chevrolet Corvette watch opts for a bold red dial, three contrasting black chronograph counters, a matching black tachymeter scale and a sporty black perforated calfskin leather strap. As a nod to the car’s speed, there’s also contrasting orange and yellow details on the tachymeter scale and a handsome engraving of the Chevrolet Corvette logo both on the dial and the case back. In perfect reflection of the speed and performance of the car it honours, the Breitling Top Time Chevrolet Corvette watch is powered by the Swiss watch manufacturer’s Breitling 25 automatic winding movement, a COSC certified calibre with 1/8th of a second chronograph, 30-second, 15-minute and 6-hour totalizers, 38 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement is protected within a 100 metre water resistant case engineered entirely from polished stainless steel which sits at a neat 42 millimetres in diameter. There’s also a non-screw locked crown with two gaskets and sapphire crystal glass.
