Includes a study of a downy wood fern from a watercolour by Sydney Parkinson, published 17681771, made during Captain James Cook"s first voyage across the Pacific, and a Samoan fern from a book of horticultural illustrations published in Brussels in 1882; plus a Hard Shield fern From ‘Die Entdeckung des Naturselbstdruckes’, 1854 and a Rockcap fern from a botanical illustration after Sydenham Edwards, c.1805.
