The quintessential French press coffee maker, designed back in the 1950s and still an iconic piece that's synonymous with the Bodum name. The Chambord coffee press is still produced with the same artisan craftsmanship as ever, with an increasing focus on environmentally responsible manufacturing. The French press system is a greener way to brew coffee without compromising on flavour. This model features a few improvements over the original design - the lid is spill-proof and gives better temperature regulation. Simply fill with a couple of spoonfuls of coffee grounds, then add hot water. Leave to brew, then depress the plunger to halt the brewing process. You can also twist the lid around to block the spout off. This model features a polished chrome plating on the metal frame - this polished surface has been carefully design to last for years of regular use. The black polypropylene of the handle is heat-resistant for safe pouring. Large enough for about 8 small cups of coffee.
