This BC Designs tin bath sets itself aside from any other tin bath you will have seen. It is truly unique with its polished tin interior and exterior this bath radiates style and works with equal elegance in both traditional and contemporary rooms. With copper being the main material component, this bath features the heat retaining properties of copper, continuing to remain warm even after the bath has been emptied of water. The tin coating is melted onto the surface of the copper to create a lustrous finish complete with the gentle undulations you would expect from a product which uses hand made methods derived from age old techniques. The result is a bath made distinctively for you, complete with character and individuality. The passive properties of tin make it a good choice for use with copper baths and it is important for tin baths to be dried after use, with a soft cloth, to prevent the residue of minerals when water evaporates. Following these two simple product care guidelines will keep your bath beautiful for many years. Please be aware that de-scaling liquids and products are too severe for this bath and should never be used. Compatible bath wastes are available and can be ordered in addition to your bath. Please note that these copper baths do not come with an overflow as standard and so an unslotted overflow is available to order as standard. (all overflow holes must be drilled on site if required) and so we provide a slotted waste option. (NB: if your bath is going to have an overflow drilled on site, you will need to call our sales team for a tin/brushed nickel slotted waste, item code: WAS055). This bath comes in two different lengths – 1500mm and 1700mm.
