In commemoration of the RAFs 100th year anniversary, Avi-8 is proud to announce the 1960s and 1980s edition of the Centenary Flyboy. Following in the success of the 1920s and 1940s issues, which have since sold out, the newest releases in this once only drop of Avi-8 timepieces look to be similarly well received. Utilising the same chassis, and movement each collection nonetheless hints at each decade of aviation achievement. The 1980s represented perhaps the arrival of an increasing level of computerization in the cockpit. Technology and an ever-increasing array of diagnostics meant more digitization and electronics married to the skill of the pilot of that era. The 1980s Centenary edition flyboy is constructed out of marine grade 316 L Stainless steel.
