Description
The Bantam is the ideal ski to get your boy comfortable on snow whether trying some jumps and tricks or just throwing down turns. A cap construction and 2.4 Impact edges keep it durable. The 78mm waist (120cm) and easy turn radius ensure it’s simple to ski and versatile enough for pistes or playing around off the sides. It’s a twin tip so it’s forgiving to slide in and out of turns, as well as for skiing backwards. The integrated binding is light with an easy step-in and will fit Alpine or Gripwalk soles on boots. Get ready for the Best Day ever!Terrain Type & Ability LevelTerrain Type The Bantam is impressively stable, making it ideal for younger freestylers or budding all mountain skiers.Skier TypeBoys who just want to shred everything and have fun.OverviewShape78mm in the waist works well in a variety of conditions, narrow enough on groomed runs and with enough width to feel stable in the park and exploring away from the pistes. The 16.2m (120cm) further improves the stability. The directional twin shape feels great when used switch.RockerPositive Camber. Traditional camber engages the tip and tail of the ski throughout the turn shape, enhancing ease of entry into, and exiting, the turn for the ultimate in edge hold.CoreThe Injectzone Core guarantees consistency with every ski identical with flex, feel and performance.ConstructionCap construction is tough and durable, extending the life of the ski and keeping it looking better for longer. Little edge catches on the cap are resisted much better than if a flat topsheet was used. A Laminate Matrix lay-up uses a directional layering of fibreglass that dictates the flex pattern and torsional rigidity to create the ultimate in quick response, forgiveness and liveliness.Key FeaturesSystem BindingUsing a system binding means that the binding can be adjusted to fit different boot sizes if feet grow or the ski is passed to a younger sibling, without the need for redrilling, it just slides, moves and clicks in to place.2.4 Impact edgeOversized edge used for demanding environments, this edge extends the lifetime of a ski. A great feature on a ski where the skier may not be quite as careful as the person who paid for them!Technical SpecificationsSize (cm)Tip Width (mm)Waist Width (mm)Tail Width (mm)Radius (m)Weight (g)11092768419.667012099789116.2730130106809815.6800General InformationSkier Ability: Novice/Intermediate/AdvancedTerrain Type: Freestyle Rocker: Full CamberRadius: MediumBase: Bindings: Integrated, L C5 GWDIN: 0.5 - 4.5Construction: Cap Core: CompositeDemo: NoSizing Description: eye level for the maximum ease of spinning and rail tricks, but you need to go bigger for extra stability or speed and for all mountain versatility, especially important on the wider models that are designed to spend more time away from the park.
