Brilliant bionic The A12 Bionic chip is a six-core CPU powerhouse, which gives you fantastic performance as well as energy efficiency. With Apple's next-generation Neural Engine, it uses real-time machine learning to transform the way you use your apps. It's up to 15% faster and 50% more energy efficient than the previous generation A11 chip. The 4 core GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) is up to 50% faster than the A11 chip when using visually demanding apps, like games and video editing. Fantastic photos Thanks to its improved 12-megapixel, wide-angle and telephoto cameras and faster sensor, your iPhone XS is even better at shooting photos and videos. Using Apple's Image Signal Processor and the A12 chip's Neural Engine, it unlocks new creative possibilities. Features include Smart HDR, bringing more highlight and shadow details to your photos; Bokeh background blur for standout portrait shots, and all-new Depth Control to adjust the depth of field after the photo has been taken.
