Always burn a candle on heat appropriate surface (i.e. not glass marble or wood). Never leave a candle burning unattended. Always keep out of reach of children and pets. When burning for the first time trim wick to around 5mm and burn until the surface wax melts completely. When you blow out the flame recentre the wick before the wick solidifies. Before lighting the candle again trim the wick to avoid unnecessary smoke. Never move or tip a burning candle. The melted wax is very hot.
