Lluis Clotet, who excels in architecture, but who has also designed a number of interesting objects, was fascinated by the crumpling of a tray in silver paper. He reproduced the effect in a successful mini-series of trays and baskets, where the crumpled edge is achieved using a complex technique of cold-pressing in a single operation.
